The times here are given in <b>double periods</b> (DS).

The timetables may still change.

<p>
<b>Lectures</b> are held directly by professors or full-time employees.
All students will then sit in the same lecture session. Most courses
include several <b>exercises</b>, some of which are taught by students.
You can also switch to a better suitable exercise.
</p>
<p>
<b>Seminar group meetings</b> only take place 5-6 times per semester.
Important organizational matters relating to the course are explained here.
You can also use this time to practice; a room will be available for this too.
</p>
<p>
In general, all courses are voluntary, but participation can be beneficial.
There is an exam for almost every course at the end of the semester
(for Rechnerarchitektur, one semester later).
</p>
<p>
Registration takes place on Wednesday, October 9th morning.
How this works will be explained in the ESE week.
</p>
<h2>Priority Enrollment</h2>
<p>
For disadvantaged students, we offer earlier enrollment so that they can
better adapt their daily routine. Because of the first come, first served
principle, some plans will quickly be fully booked. Please
<a href="mailto:stundenplan@ifsr.de">contact us</a>, if you would like to
enroll sooner and you belong to one of the following groups:
<ul>
<li>Students with children (as legal guardians)</li>
<li>Students who care for relatives</li>
<li>Students with severe disabilities</li>
<li>
Students with illness, long-term conditions or medical treatment
during the ESE week
</li>
<li>Neurodivergent students</li>
<li>
Workers with an employment contract of 10 hours/week or more.
</li>
<li>
International students who have not yet arrived for the ESE week
</li>
</ul>
</p>
Please write us your favorite timetable, ZiH login and the reason, why you need an early enrollment. Thought, you don't need you meantion a specific illness or similar very sensible Data.
